Olivia's Song
Here's a song that Olivia made up today while teacher Erin from her preschool was watching her (Cora was at at school and I was at work, the University preschool is on winter break). Erin copied the words down on paper for Olivia.
It's raining love, it's raining loveDown to the ground and all over town.The sun shines down on the loveAnd the love sparkles in the sun.It was a beautiful day,A wonderful day to play.We had to go back inside, we had to go back inside.Right when it was sunset, we had to go back inside.The next day it was more beautiful,And more beautiful, and more beautiful.Then it became sunset, then night time.And we slept outside, in the tent, in the tent.We collected wood, and leaves.Raining paint and paint brushesDanced all around, danced all around, until night time.Kept dancin' all around until morning!Dancing all around, all the way to New Mexico!Sunshine goes through the sky,Sunshine goes all around during day time,But at night time you can see the moon.When you are in outer space, you feel like it's time to sleepBecause you cannot tell if it is time to sleep,Or time to wake up.
